Get to Know Emily
Emily Schwabe is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant candidate, having earned a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Emily has also been a high school, club, and summer league swim coach for over a decade. In addition, she brings personal experience as a Division 1 Student-Athlete at both Louisiana State University (LSU), and The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In her coaching career, Emily has led an 8-time repeat Division II State Championship team. In her own athletic adventure, Emily represented the US on the Junior National Team, and attended Olympic Trials in 2008. With experience as a coach, a high level athlete, and now a mental performance professional, Emily brings experience to understand every role in the sports world.
Emily currently lives in Madison WI, earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marquette University and works at Journey Mental Health as a Crisis Worker, serving the community for mental health crises. Emily has worked with multiple teams and individual athletes in sport consulting in the Madison area for the past 2 years.
